FAQ

  • How is Xenio specific to PACE?

The Nostos team has spent the better part of a decade working with the PACE model and becoming familiar with its operational needs. Nostos has developed the Xenio software and mobile app as a centralized solution while keeping features flexible enough to fit any PACE operation’s unique needs.

The Xenio software is designed to handle the requests that come in from each PACE department to prevent overlapping schedules and identify optimal times in the day/week to bring in the requested participants. With the utilization of our mobile app, office staff and drivers are able to stay updated in real-time on any last minute schedule change and communicate via the HIPAA compliant messaging feature.

  • Who uses Xenio?

Team members in the transportation department who are involved with scheduling, dispatching, monitoring vehicles, and providing CMS ready reports are the main users of Xenio. Beyond them, PACE staff/departments have access as desired to submit and track requests, see live cancellations/pick up times, pull reports, or opt in for automated emails tied to priority requests.

  • Is Xenio only for PACE staff to use or participants as well?

Due to the amount of ePHI, Xenio is for PACE staff users only. Participants do have the ability to opt into automated phone calls, text messages, or both for reminders on pick up times.

  • How does the automated notification system work?

    Xenio’s automated notification system includes:

    • Prior-day notifications with smart-estimated pick-up times.

    • Same-day notifications based on the time preference of each participant.

    • The ability to receive a notification as a text message or a high quality voice-call in the participant’s preferred language.

    • The ability to cancel a pick-up through the notification calls or texts.

    • Capturing and reporting for all notification interactions.

  • Is Nostos HIPAA compliant?

Nostos has been recognized as HIPAA compliant via Compliancy Group, the leaders in HIPAA verification.
